Kristen Patch. Congratulations! She gets to pick from the three pieces of art below. Kristin, my email contact is above.
The next series starts in August. The August give-aways will be posted on this
blog (rather than being a facebook only offer) and a notice will be sent by email. If you are on my e-mailing list, or check my blog, and then respond to the challenge questions
(and trust me, they will be easy :-)), then your name goes in the hat for the draw.
To receive my once or twice a month emails on events or recent paintings, contact me at the link above. Four gifts, four drawings in August. See you soon and thanks for all the kind comments... I am so glad you enjoy my color.

And the winner is....
Congratulations, Iris Pimentel! You are the winner of the tiny star give-away on facebook. Thank you to everyone for "liking" my facebook page. We have one more give-away for June and then I start the next series in August. The August give-aways will be posted on this blog and a notice will be sent by email. (I realize some people are not on facebook and I want to mix it up a bit so all can enjoy.) If you are on my mailing list, or check my blog, and you respond to the challenge questions (trust me, they will be easy :-)), then your name goes in the hat for the draw. Four gifts, four drawings in August.
Now for this Friday's final June give-away on facebook, you have a choice... one of the three items shown here in this post. A pack of Rose Bryant Postcards (10 cards and 10 envelopes), a tiny painting (3.5x2.5 inches), or a 4x4 chunky little abstract. Become a fan on facebook before Friday noon (the 29th) and your name goes in the hat. Good luck!

Whimsy Star. Art give-way
Cutie little whimsy star is the next gift for Friday, June 22. I'll draw at noon. This is a tiny painting, 3x3 inches. UV protective varnish (just like all my big ones) and a tiny little bio in the back. Look to the left for the link to my facebook page. "Like" my page and you are in for this drawing. If you have already "liked", great, you are still in for all the give-aways. Two left for this series: this Friday and then June 29. Good luck!
For those of you looking for a fun show to visit, I will be at a new (for me) craft fair in Kennebunkport, Maine. It's the School Around Us Craft Fair on the Green Saturday, July 7th. A charming, well established (37 years) and well run event that benefits School Around Us. I will have my Tiny Paintings plus larger works. I love the shows I do and the people that run them. Hope to see you!

The next little give-away...
Tomorrow at noon... I draw for the next gift. This floral abstract is an 8x8 acrylic on canvas board. I hope it speaks to you and fills your day with thoughts of summer. Just "like" my facebook page to enter. All previous "likes" are included in the draw... so if you are already in, you have a chance on this Friday at noon, and on the 22nd and on the 29th! Please, share with a friend who needs a little color.
Congratulations to all the graduates out there... enjoy your summer.

Shadows of Winter
SOLD at the Willow in Exeter, "Shadows of Winter" 10x10 acrylic on canvas. This little painting was done early this spring when leaves had not yet arrived... the light was strong, the warmth was beginning. I'm now varnishing a much larger piece to take down to the Willow... 30x40. Completely different feel. Still a landscape, still abstract trees, but in yellow oxide and reds...very warm. It should be there tomorrow. If you stop in, tell me what you think.

Art give-away. Olive greeting card.
This is kinda fun. The first of four give-aways this time is my olive card.... based on a painting that was originally 24x36. I love olive green and I love olive red. Each week, June 8, 15, 22, and 29, I will pick a random winner from all the "likes" on my facebook page "Rose Bryant Original Paintings" (which is not my personal page). The link is to the left. Even if you have won in the past, you can win again - I draw from ALL the "likes" each of the four weeks. Good luck! Winner announced at noon.
A really BIG thank you to everyone who came out to Beacon Hill this past Sunday. Carol and friends, Elaine, Bret, Craig, Mark, Keith, Dieter, Chris, Alan (my sonny), Susan and Nancy. You really took your chances with this weather! But what a day for timing... our morning drive to Boston - RAIN. Then it stopped. We set up. Sold some art, talked, played, met new friends. We took it all down at 6. Got in the car, and then RAIN all the way back home! Crazy. How does that happen? I have felt very lucky with my art outdoor art shows... (I won't say that too loudly for fear of a jinx)

The next give-aways start Friday June 8
Happy June everyone. Next week I start my four-week give-away series for a tiny painting, a print, or a pack of cards. Each week, June 8, 15, 22, and 29, I will pick a random winner from all the "likes" on my art facebook page "Rose Bryant Original Paintings" (which is not my personal page). The link is to the left. SOLD "The Green Landscape", 12x36, acrylic on canvas. Thank you again to all who came to our Mother's Day weekend event. We couldn't have asked for better weather. The above painting went home with someone who loves red.... I share the same love. Sometimes just the mere hint of red is enough to make the statement. I think I fall in love with color all over again each time something exciting happens on the canvas. How many times can you fall in love? Tons. (Thank you, AW)
Oh, and did I say Beacon Hill? Beacon Hill, Beacon Hill.... yes, this Sunday 12-6. I am at my same little spot again this year WHICH I LOVE. Once you get parked, look for #1 Putnam. Last year the stream of people walked through the little tunnel from Charles Street. I sat right in front of the music and I had a little shade cover on the bricked walkway. What a spot.
