Beacon Hill Artwalk This Sunday 12-6

Oh my gosh, the Beacon Hill Artwalk is already here.... It is one of my favorite shows to do. It's a day of music, beautiful walkways and gardens that are usually kept private, lots of art and bites to eat at little shops on Charles Street. It so easy to make a day in Boston... ideas: maybe an early trip to the waterfront at Columbus Park with your scone and coffee, the artwalk at noon, dinner in the North End. Just look for Charles and Cambridge Streets. (Disclaimer: This photo is not of a painting [yet] but it is of the spirit of the day at the art show). Hope to see you!

Thank you for coming!

It was so nice to see everyone this past weekend. Thank you for coming to our 7th Annual ART ON UNION STREET and supporting local artists and business. We had fabulous weather, great friends, lot's of hanging out in the yard, good conversation... and of course... color. We had a winner for the Rose Bryant Original Painting... congratulations, Tracy Jones (and Tracy says she never wins anything :-) !

Congratulations to Maggie Mulhearn,, the winner of "Soft Hydrangea" (earlier post). I will announce the next series of giveaways starting June 1st. Mothers Day is just around the corner... Would you like your little cherubs to send someone special a charming little Mother's Day wish? Drop by ART ON UNION STREET Friday or Saturday Mother's Day weekend and pose and click. This Photo-op Art was painted by a nice bunch of artists from Phillips Exeter Academy....Tez Clark, Ji Young Jang, Cherry Zhang, Spencer Kwon, Gary Koplik, and Ruby Feng. They are all volunteers with Cre-Aid... a social service art group that works with community members to assist in various art projects. They have worked with the Housing Authority, Lincoln Street School, Main Street School and with Art on Union to name a few. Thank you, guys! Pictured here are two famous Union Street groupies, Sam and Ava Seigel.
